1. What Information Do We Collect?

Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.

Social Media Login Data. We may provide the option to register using your existing social media account (e.g., Facebook, X). If you do, we will collect certain profile information from the social media provider as described in Section 5.
Application Data. If you use our mobile application(s), we may collect:

- Push Notifications – for account updates and features. You may turn these off in device settings.
Information Automatically Collected includes device and usage information such as IP address, browser characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, and how/when you use our Services. We also collect information through cookies and similar technologies.
The information we collect includes Log and Usage Data, Device Data, and Location Data.
Google API. Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

Terms & Conditions
By creating an account or placing a booking on Groomers, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. About Groomers
Groomers is an online marketplace operated by Groomers Technologies Pvt. Ltd. that connects customers with independent grooming salons ("Vendors"). We facilitate discovery, booking, and payment — we are not the service provider ourselves. The actual grooming service is rendered by the Vendor.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to register. Minors may use the service only under adult supervision.
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- One person may hold only one active customer account.
3. Bookings
- Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment or an explicit confirmation notification.
- Groomers acts as a limited payment collection agent on behalf of Vendors.
- You are responsible for arriving on time. Late arrivals may result in shortened service or cancellation at the Vendor's discretion.
- Service descriptions and pricing are provided by Vendors and may vary. Groomers does not guarantee accuracy but will assist in resolving discrepancies.
4. Cancellations
- You may cancel a booking for free up to 4 hours before the appointment time.
- Cancellations within 4 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service value, as set by the Vendor.
- No-shows without prior cancellation are charged the full booking amount.
- Vendors reserve the right to cancel bookings in cases of emergency; a full refund will be processed in such cases.
5. Payments
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. By completing a payment you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service.
- All prices are inclusive of GST unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Groomers may offer promo codes / cashback which are subject to their own terms.
- Groomers charges a platform convenience fee which will be disclosed at checkout.
6. Reviews & Ratings
- You may submit a review only for services you have actually received via the platform.
- Reviews must be truthful, relevant, and not contain abusive or defamatory content.
- Groomers reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these standards.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Groomers platform — including the brand, logo, design, and software — is owned by or licensed to Groomers Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Groomers is a technology intermediary under the IT Act 2000. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services rendered by Vendors. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking in question.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [City], India. We encourage amicable resolution first — contact support@groomers.co.in.

Refund Policy
Groomers is operated by Maruti Enterprises. Groomers is a platform that connects customers with independent service providers. We do not provide services directly.
1. Cancellations
- Customers may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee, and the refund amount may be reduced.
- No refunds will be issued in cases of customer no-shows.
2. Full Refund Eligibility
A full refund may be issued in the following cases:
- The service provider cancels the booking or fails to attend the appointment.
- The service is not delivered as described.
- A duplicate or incorrect payment is charged due to a technical issue.
3. Partial Refunds
A partial refund (up to 50%) may be issued at our discretion in the following cases:
- Cancellation within 4 hours of the scheduled appointment.
- Customer arrives significantly late, resulting in a shortened service.
- Verified service quality issues where the service does not fully meet the described standard.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
- Customer no-shows without prior cancellation.
- Bookings cancelled after the service has commenced.
- Fully completed services where dissatisfaction is based on subjective preference.
- Promotional discounts, cashback, or loyalty credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
5. Refund Requests
Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled service time through the app or designated support channels.
Each request will be reviewed, and additional information may be required.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method as follows:
- UPI / Net Banking: 3–5 business days
- Debit / Credit Cards: 5–7 business days
Refund timelines may vary depending on the payment provider and banking systems.
7. Disputes
If a customer is not satisfied with the resolution, they may escalate the matter by contacting refunds@groomers.co.in.
We aim to resolve escalations within 7 business days. Users may also seek remedies under applicable consumer protection laws.
8. Changes to Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Acceptable Use Policy
This policy outlines responsible use of the Groomers platform. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
1. Prohibited Activities
You must not use Groomers to:
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent bookings
- Post fake reviews or manipulate salon ratings
- Harass, threaten, or abuse salon staff or other users
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform using automated tools
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose under Indian law
- Promote or facilitate money laundering or fraudulent transactions
2. Content Standards
Any content you submit (reviews, messages, profile information) must not:
- Be defamatory, obscene, threatening, or hateful
- Contain personal information of others without their consent
- Infringe any intellectual property rights
- Constitute spam or unsolicited commercial messages
- Violate any applicable law including the IT Act 2000 and DPDP Act 2023
3. Account Security
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Do not share your account with others.
- Report any unauthorised access immediately to security@groomers.co.in.
4. Fair Use of Offers & Promotions
- Promo codes and offers are intended for genuine customers and single-use unless stated otherwise.
- Creating multiple accounts to exploit offers is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent account termination and reversal of transactions.
5. Enforcement
Groomers reserves the right to:
- Issue warnings for minor violations
- Temporarily suspend accounts pending investigation
- Permanently terminate accounts for serious or repeat violations
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement authorities
We will notify you of enforcement actions unless doing so would compromise an investigation.
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this policy, please report it via the in-app "Report" feature or email trust@groomers.co.in. We take all reports seriously and aim to review them within 24 hours.
